Using the search mapping & time functions of EngineeringPlans, we explored the popularity of searches for garage doors over time across the US.
Our results go much deeper than this, but in summary, we found the most popular time of the year for interest in garage doors was in July, and Florida far outweighed the rest of the US in searches for wind-rated garage doors. Also interesting to note that searches were mostly closer to coastlines. This is an indicator that the public, designers, and municipalities are pushing for more garage doors with wind ratings to better combat areas hit by recent storms.
